Leigh-Ann Moulder Director The Corporate Ladder Training (Pty) Ltd Corporate Trainer Admitted Attorney B-Com. LLB UNISA |
Over the last decade I have been privileged enough to have been placed in a position where I have been both able to teach and empower young people who have entered the job market. I have been privy to the recruitment process and interviews, have trained both professional and non-professional staff as well as managed them.
The Corporate Ladder was born as a result of me being witness to firstly, the types of skills and behaviours employers would like to see reflected in their staff and secondly from the employees’ vantage point as well, observing just how daunting and overwhelming a business environment actually is to the newly employed person or first time employee.
The Corporate Ladder is a finishing school, for those individuals who wish to gain the upper hand over the other candidates in the job market by learning about how a corporate environment operates and how to maximise their own potential within that environment.
I have interviewed hundreds of prospective employees for various roles and first impressions of a candidate are lasting impressions. In a flooded job market such as ours, corporates can afford to be selective about who they employ and finding the right person to fit into their business environment.
The Corporate Ladder provides employees with the skill set which employers are looking for in candidates.
As an attorney I am also aware of which areas of the law employees need to be upskilled in and made aware of, such as understanding the terms of their employment contract and the Basic Conditions of Employment Act.
The Corporate Ladder also provides legal training to call centres and smaller intimate discussions to staff as part of corporate wellness programmes around debt and the legal consequences thereof.
